Recording and Editing is Underway!
Greetings Gregarious Galvanizers!
We’ve got the last update of September right here for you! This week’s newsblog will be full of some news regarding my personal YouTube ventures, great entertainment recommendations for all you lovely people, and some other fun stuff in this fully loaded update. We hope you really enjoy this edition of our newsblog and that the others this month made your September brighter!
1) Recording is Underway! -
From the Side Ventures Division
This week I have fully started my YouTube process. In fact, just this last week, I have even started to record some footage for about three or so different videos I have been scripting out for the last month or so. Now, I am hard at work editing them every spare second I get so I can upload these high-quality, hopefully entertaining, videos as soon as possible. The first two videos I’ll upload have to do with the topics of “modern gaming” as a whole and why I think gaming YouTubers should be game developers in the here and now. After that, I’ll be working on a lot more videos in the future as there seems to be an endless number of ideas my brain keeps pumping out for YouTube material. In the meantime, please root for me as I work towards putting together these first few videos and getting them all set up for you lovely people to watch. When they release, please give me all the constructive criticism you can! I want to have my content be at its highest quality as I talk about the things I love. I hope that I can also entertain and generate some great discussion with my content as well. As always, keep your eyes peeled for all things Bear & Pixie to hear further updates!
2) A Studio Ghibli Flick that Hits You on Spiritual Level! –
From the Anime Movie Division of the Department of Animated Storytelling
It seems like I find myself in a continual loop of watching Studio Ghibli films and I just had to re-watch Spirited Away again recently. This movie is widely regarded by many as Hayao Miyazaki’s best work in animation and, I must say, it’s hard to disagree with that sentiment. This movie boasts some of the most beautiful animated sequences of all time alongside a fantastic story, interesting world, and engaging characters from start to finish. The film touches on very influential themes like identity, greed, isolation, and the loss of the past along with its other larger themes. This is one of those movies I think everyone can connect to and walk away learning something from. If you’re looking for a great movie to watch that is better than most of the animated movies that have ever been released, then this is the one for you! At Bear & Pixie, we give this movie a well-deserved 9 out of 10. If you’re interested in seeing this one for yourself and you have a current HBOMax account, you can watch it by clicking the picture below. [WE ARE NOT SPONSORED BY ANY COMPANY. 3) Artist Shout-Out -
From the Artist Relations Department
Our pick for this week’s Artist Shout-Out goes to the incredible illustrator Tomislav Jagnjic who goes by Tomislav_art on Instagram. His art has an incredible sense of scale, a mythically epic feel, and brilliant use of color. Tomislav’s paintings are stellar at bringing fantastical worlds to life. His art is so good that it definitely deserves a follow on Instagram. Also, if you feel so inclined, this amazing artist’s Patreon link is below if you would like to support Tomislav any further. [We are not sponsored by Tomislav Jagnjic. We are only fans and genuinely wanted to give a shoutout.]

4) The Hilton, In Space! -
From the Fascinating News Division
Just recently, I saw this article about how the Hilton hotels are designing astronaut suits on the Starlab space station to “reimagine the human experience in space.” Is this the first step towards actual hotels in space? Go check out the article to find out for yourself! [We are NOT sponsored by any news organization. We are just wanting to share something cool with our incredible fans.]

5) A Throwback to a Hilarious, Incredible TV Show that Rocked a Generation! –
From the Animated Show Division of the Storytelling Department
Recently, I started rewatching Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends and, interestingly enough, this show is just as good as I remember it being. Now, growing up, I wasn’t allowed to watch this show, however, now that I am an adult, I can watch all the kids cartoons I want! Foster’s is replete with a ton of funny moments, jokes, interesting characters, and heartwarming moments throughout that makes you want to continue watching all the way till the end. I mean, how interesting of an idea is it to take the concept of “imaginary friends” and create an entire show about “imaginary friends” who are abandoned by their kids. Craig McCracken, the creator behind the show, took this idea and ran with it to tell lots of stellar stories and give us some of the best character moments in animation history. For us, we feel like this show easily earns an 8 out of 10 on the official Bear & Pixie rating system and we highly recommend you check out this show for yourself. If you feel so inclined to do so, you can watch this show by clicking on the picture below on HBOMax if you have a subscription! [We are NOT sponsored by any company. We are only giving a genuine opinion/recommendation.]
